KANKARIA CARNIVAL

The extravagant end of the splendid year 2013 is brought to end with the glorious Kankaria Carnival in our city of Ahmedabad. A weeklong festival has been in existence since year 2008, and as every year it commences on 25^th December by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. As reported, this year approximately six lack people visited in the opening weekend.

In 2013, the grand Kankaria carnival has striking activities that has never been introduced before, such as aero-modeling, aqua scripting waterfall, tricycle rally, music shows that played popular Hindi and Sufi songs, magic show and rock band as major attractions.

Apart from this, cultural programmes that showcased folk dance performances, special horse-dog show, adventure sports, laser show, and weapon exhibition. The carnival will be concluded with a spectacular fireworks show on 31 December and welcome 2014 with a bang.

Kankaria Carnival is a major attraction and a festival symphony that represents the cultural and city of Ahmedabad. The visitors travel from country and abroad to witness this mega event of Ahmedabad.
